Description

CD reissue. The Chad Mitchell Trio - later known as The Mitchell Trio - were a North American vocal group who became known during the 1960s. They performed traditional folk songs and some of their own compositions. They were particularly notable for performing satirical songs that criticized current events during the time of the cold war, the civil rights movement, and the Vietnam War, in a less subtle way than the typical folk music and singer-songwriter musicians of their time.

1. A Dying Business 2. Stewball and Griselda 3. Mandy Lane 4. The Alabama Song 5. When I Was a Young Man 6. An African Song (On That Great Civilised Morning) 7. I Can't Help But Wonder 8. The Draft Dodger Rag 9. If I Gave You 10. The Pride of Petrovar 11. Rhymes of the Irreverent
