Joining the pianist are a cast of hard bop masters including Hank Mobley, Donald Byrd, Paul Chambers, and Art Blakey. Highlights include "Junka," "Minor Meeting," and Hank Mobley's solo on "Royal Flush." Blue Note Tone Poet Series features all-analog, remastered recordings. Produced by Joe Harley.
