The year 2005 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Gustav Dentzel Menagerie Carousel at Ontario Beach Park in Rochester, New York. On the scenic shores of Lake Ontario, "The Duchess" spins around in her original home. One of only 14 operating menagerie carousels in the U.S., "The Duchess" is New York's only operating antique Dentzel carousel, spinning around every summer with her collection of exotic and domestic animals whirling to the music of the 1985 Stinson Organ. Until recent years, Wurlitzer Military Band Organ-style 165 paper rolls were played on the organ - now a Stinson MIDI system plays the same music once heard on rolls. This 30 track collection features "Yes! We Have No Bananas," "Vienna Waltz," "I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover" and others.
