Description
In the Fifties, Buck Owens was a hot Telecaster picker who travelled south from Bakersfield to the Capitol Building, Vine Street, Hollywood to play on numerous sessions, eventually signing to Capitol and having a decade-long string of hits that commenced with Under Your Spell Again in 1959. Prior to his major label debut, Buck recorded many 45's for regional labels such as Bakersfield's Pep. This fantastic set collects the best of his gritty early days.
