Wild, zany, naughty antics ensue when two teens from the posh Cherryvale Academy for Girls fight over a guy from the nearby Freemount boys' school. As Christine (Phoebe Cates) and her boyfriend Jim (Matthew Modine) plan for their "first time," Christine's rival, Jordan (Betsy Russell), schemes to have Jim all to herself.
