Modern composer Juan Jose Falcon Sanabria, a native of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, premiers three of his orchestral compositions: Atlantica (1991), performed by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra with the Prague Philharmonic Choir conducted by Jire Belohlevek; Elan (1991) performed by the Orquesta Filarmonica de Gran Canaria with Jose Ramon Encinar conducting; and Sinfonoia Urbana (1990) performed by the Orquesta Filarmonica de Gran Canaria with Ernesto Martinez Izquierdo conducting. Recorded live at the Festival de Musica de Canarias - World Premier Recordings. All selections newly remastered.
