Description
In early December 1941, iconic actress Yu Jin (Gong LI) arrived in occupied Shanghai to appear for a stage stint opposite old leading man/flame Tan Na (Mark Chao). While she had a covert purpose of obtaining intelligence for the Allies, the imprisonment of her ex-husband (Zhang Songwen) by the Japanese may cloud the apparent truth of her allegiances.
