This double CD release captures the new sound of Kingston, Jamaica that has emerged over the last few years. "Serious Times" stands apart from any other reggae comp by virtue of it's live feel and assemblage. Disc one is expertly mixed by internationally known selector Max Glazer (Federation Sound), giving the auditory sensation of experiencing a traditional Jamaican sound system in action. Disc two features the individual, unmixed tracks coupled with exclusive remixes. Radiohead love the track "Turbulence" so much they blast it on the sound system at the end of their shows.
