A great vintage soul vocal group hailing from Newark, New Jersey, Soul Generation consists of the vocalists Cliff Perkins (lead singer, tenor, choreographer), Earl Davenport (2nd tenor), Thomas Timmons (bass), and Herman Hammonds (baritone). Presented here is the group captured live in concert. The recordings were culled from two separate shows, in 1996 and 2002 respectively. All selections have been newly remastered.
