Vinyl LP pressing. Spike Fuck is inspired primarily by love and obsession, addiction, sexual disorientation, Catholic guilt and washed up 60s musicians who make overproduced comeback albums a decade later crying out for redemption and a maybe even just little bit of the limelight back. Spike Fuck describes her music and attitude as a whole (for the sake of classification and utility) as "smackwave" - a blend of late 80s new wave and late 70s post-punk with a dash of country music/singer-songwriter sensibilities delivered in Las Vegas Ballroom karaoke vocal style. The Smackwave EP was previously only available digitally as a 4 track release. Partisan Records is thrilled to issue The Smackwave EP on vinyl with new bonus track, "Body By Crystal."
