Description
Squirt gun formed in the fertile farm land of Indiana in the fall of 1993. They began recording immediately and signed with Lookout! Records. The first CDEP hit the streets in spring of 1995 and their self titled debut appeared that fall. That full length contained the song (Social) which was featured later that year in the opening credits of the Kevin Smith movie Mallrats. 1996-1998 brought another CDEP and a second full length with songs again featured in movies and on TV. With regular rotation on MTV2. Not to mention tours with Bouncing souls, the Queers, Blink 182, Less Than Jake, At-the-drive-in, anti-flag, and NOFX. In 1998 the band took a break until their re-grouping in 2001 when they began to work on their latest 2003 release Fade to Bright. Fast forward to February of 2008, when Squirt gun played a blistering live set to a capacity crowd in their home town of Lafayette, Indiana. Broadcast... recorded with original drummer Dan Lumley has 19 powerful tracks including an exclusive new song, 'Across the wire' and Squirt gun's version of Common Riders Classics of Love and clearly shows Squirt gun is still a force to be reckoned with.
