Description
Delmark has begun reissuing records from the legendary Apollo label, and this release is a definite winner, especially on nine of these 15 cuts that were previously unissued. Sunnyland Slim was one of the great Chicago blues keyboardists, and this 1949 recording shows him in top, swingin' form, with soon-to-be Muddy Waters stalwart Jimmy Rogers joining him for I'm in Love; That's All Right. Great sound, too.
