Description
Written and directed by Lina Wertmuller, this satire on class struggle chronicles the tumultuous relationship between a well-to-do Italian socialite (Mariangela Melato) and a communist-minded deckhand (Giancarlo Giannini). After the motor on their dinghy goes out on the Mediterranean, the two head for an island, where the two diametrically opposed castaways find their roles being reversed, and an unlikely romance blooming.
