Tim Whistsett presents a collection of rare and previously unreleased tracks by underground soul hero Tommy Tate who was a featured vocalist in Whitsett's band. Tommy also sang lead on three Stax sides by the Nightingales and was successful as a songwriter. This collection includes a number of Tate's song writing demos.
