Insights is the first full length album from WA musician Jonny Taylor. A mix of Roots, Rock and Country- there is a genuine honesty about "Insights" that can't be ignored. Rather than lyrics on the inside album sleeve, you will find a paragraph containing a bit of background information about each song. This only adds the intimate and personal nature of the songs. But don't be fooled- This acoustic flavored style of Rock is not all about swaying lullabies and sweet ballads... Within the record lies a strong and passionate spirit. You will find elements of alternative Rock, Grunge, Country, Blues and Folk. A broad variety of flavors that never seem to stray from the heart and soul of the album. One of the album tracks -'Sydney Song' - was recently submitted as a demo to the WA Country Music Awards and has earned Jonny a nomination for 2011 Best Male Artist.
