On their Atlantic debut, this Detroit-area trio combine their city's musical heritages, blending Motor City rock & roll with contemporary electronic and acid house sounds. Add exotic Eastern instruments such as darabouka, dumbek and pod shakers into the mix and the result is a sound not unlike Kraftwerk at a club in "Kashmir." Highlights include the 1st single/video, "Temptation," and the ambient "Aftermath," which show The Tea Party moving into uncharted territory on the other side of today's cutting edge.
