Blessed by Ragtimer Eubie Blake, Trebor Tichenor plays the "real stuff." Rags, Tichenor comments, "retain strong ties to the country"-maintaining notably Midwestern and southern roots-and are characteristically endowed with folk strains "ebullient" or "ribald," "wistful" or "bittersweet."
