Traumer The Great Metal Storm CD

European edition includes two bonus tracks. At the time of the release of their debut album The Great Metal Storm in 2014, the Brazilian power metal band Traumer took the Japanese rock and metal charts by storm. Up to this point, the album has only been available in Japan and the USA. Therefore, The Great Metal Storm is now re-released in Europe featuring two additional bonus tracks. The title song demonstrates the album's line of approach presenting classic power metal sounds, driving drums, gripping guitar solos, hymnal vocals and a lot of melody. It is to the credit of the band's intuition to not only rely on sound scapes and genre patterns, but also on songs with a high recognition value that even quiet tunes and ballads fit into the overall picture. Especially the two bonus tracks "Nights Of Babylon" and "Gates Of Freedom", both acoustic versions of album songs, highlight that the compositions also work only with vocals, a piano and an acoustic guitar.
