Description
Tria Lingvo - a success story of nearly ten years on the jazz scene and other stages. This is reflected in numerous recordings, radio-productions and raving press reviews. Together, the three musicians have chalked up 2 JAZZ ECHOS, and more than 100 CDs recorded between them. They have been described as an 'indispensable keystone to the German jazz scene' (Harald Rehmann, Deutschlandfunk). Starting from the premise that Jazz and Ethnic music lie between 'a rock and a hard place' then we need a third language: a 'Tria Lingvo'. Tria Lingvo is not a 'bandleader' band but a genuine 'collective' which really seems to work. As a small formation, without a harmony instrument, the trio provides an ideal platform for musical encounters and is constantly seeking new inspiration inviting guest musicians - early collaborators included Dominique Pifar?ly and Ramesh Shotham. Later on, the trio discovered two internationally renowned "soul mates" in the English trombonist Mark Bassey and the Hungarian violin player Zoltan Lantos, both contributing in their own highly sensitive ways to the musical world of "Lemke Nendza Hillmann".
