As the principal pianist and arranger for the famed Tropicana nightclub house-band of 1950's Havana, Bebo Valdez developed a reputation as a master arranger. Often referred to as the "Cuban Quincy Jones," Valdez was the go man in 1950's Havana. Recorded in Havana in the 1950's MUCHO SABOR features Bebo's legendary orchestra Sabor de Cuban, from the Tropicana days. This rare recording stands as one of the greatest treasures of Cuban music, re-mastered and finally on CD.
