Description
Vayo is a three time Grammy Nominee; 2007 & 2010 Latin Grammy for 'Best Tango Album' and 2011 Grammy for 'Best Contemporary World Music Album'. Vayo's elegant and distinctive vocal interpretations of his own compositions and of other themes express the poetry and drama of Tropical Music. Besides his own compositions in an ample variety of Latin rhythms, Vayo offers his original arrangements of the traditional themes 'Aquellos Ojos Verdes' and 'Tristezas' (the first bolero in history). He also interprets themes from the American pop culture in the manner of tropical music.
