Suddenly it was not all about love, peace and doing your thing, but about bad trips, depression, loneliness, and hatred too. A sole album by Velvet Night is an important artifact of this early heavy psychedelia in USA, and it should be judged in the context - perhaps cultural & historical importance is above the musical achievement.
