Back in the '80s, Ennio (Stefan Sauk) had a prosperous video store. Now, he and the countless VHS tapes he's hoarded face eviction from his basement dwelling. Temporary hope glimmers when he's offered a huge amount of cash for a rare giallo in his collection-but, when the videocassette goes missing, his frenzied hunt finds him getting a shot at real connection with the similarly alcoholic and stuck-in-the-past Simone (Lena Nilsson).
