Description
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra commissioned James Matheson's Violin Concerto. The concerto 'owes it's existence' to a friendship that began some 20 years ago when Matheson and Baird Doge (member of the CSO) were roommates at Swarthmore College. Recorded live in Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall December 15, 2011.
