This CD presents vocalese master Jon Hendricks reunited with pianist and former accompanist Larry Vuckovich and other band members, including former Basie drummer Harold Jones and Grammy nominated Latin percussionist John Santos. This second release from the Larry Vuckovich Young at Heart Ensemble has music from Lester Young, Count Basie, Charlie Parker plus John Coltrane, James Moody and originals. The CD also features Noel Jewkes and Jules Broussard.
