Two time Grammy winning saxophonist Ernie Watts is joined by a stellar group of support musicians on the Long Road Home - pianist Kenny Barron, guitarist Mark Whitfield and bassist Reggie Workman, plus vocalist Carmen Lundy on two tracks. Originally released in 1996 (as XRC 45, deleted on 11-1-05) on the JVC audiophile imprint XRCD (extended resolution CD) is now available from Ernie Watt's own label Flying Dolphin Records at a much more competitive price. XRCD's can be played on all regular CD players.
