Description
2015 debut album by Baltimore-based quartet Western Star. These hard working and touring young men cite their musical inspiration as coming from three main sources: Thin Lizzy, The Pixies and the Old 97's. The album was produced by Old 97's lead guitarist Ken Bethea and is chock full of radio friendly tunes such as "Ghostchaser", "Forever And A Day" and "Aeroangel". Their sound is an energetic garage and alt-country informed brand of classic rock played with verve and bravado that is innovative and timeless.
